Little Athletics is a family activity, in which children from the age of 5 to 16 learn the basic athletic skills of running, jumping and throwing.
Little Athletics
is a fun activity in which all children, regardless of ability,
are encouraged to improve their own personal performances. To
achieve that goal our Centre provides friendly competition on
Friday evenings. Play training and other coaching activities
take place during the week. By joining in these activities and
learning how to participate in the events correctly, your children
will have a lot of fun.
Little Athletics is a fitness activity which consists of simple
warm up exercises preceding each meet, coaching sessions and
participation in the actual running, jumping and throwing events.
All little athletic activities are designed to help improve
your child's fitness and well being. Not all competitors can
be champions and this philosophy applies to all sports. For
the majority of our members we want to emphasis the philosophy
of "IMPROVE" rather than 'WIN".
To better our own personal performance in whatever we attempt
is undoubtedly a step forward and a basis for good mental and
physical health.
